As part of the SEEPIA project, a report was prepared with the aim of qualitatively evaluating the compliance of the setting of subsidy policy in the Czech Republic in the two periods of the Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) 2014–2020 and 2021–2027 with the policy objectives in environmental protection, sustainable development and the European Green Deal.
The report briefly summarizes existing (publicly available) evaluations of the use of MFF funds in the Czech Republic contained in the evaluation library of the National Coordination Authority and public audit by the Supreme Audit Office. It also contains analyses – first an ex-post evaluation of expenditure from the MFF 2014-2020 using a procedure based on green budgeting tagging, and then an ex-ante evaluation of the allocations of the MFF 2021-2027 and the Modernisation Fund against the model scenarios developed within SEEPIA project and used as a basis for updating the National Energy and Climate Plan.
