The SEEPIA team scientists created a study to define alternative scenarios for the environment of the Czech Republic until 2050, based on the identification of global megatrends and their key drivers, whose impacts have a significant potential to influence current environmental and socio-economic processes in the future which have a direct impact on the development of the environment. The resulting scenarios will enable better identification of possible measures that can enhance the desired environmental development and which should thus be reflected in the preparation of the State Environmental Policy of the Czech Republic.
