Options for introducing other economic instruments for adaptation, nature, landscape and biodiversity conservation
Survey respondents among Czech farmers preferred practice-based agri-environmental contracts, i.e. payment per hectare if certain procedures are followed, and on the contrary, they preferred the status quo (i.e. no contract) compared to a result-based contract.

Barriers and Possibilities for the Development of Short-Rotation Coppice as an Agroforestry System for Adaptation to Climate Change in Central European Conditions
Researchers from Research Institute for Landscape published an article comparing different production, economic, and selected environmental aspects of agroforestry systems in a standard (alley cropping) and a newly proposed design with fast-growing trees grown in short-rotation coppice. The article presents an economic methodology for assessing the competitiveness of biomass production in AFSs under the current identified market conditions.

General equilibrium computational model for agriculture
Colleagues from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague have created a dynamic general equilibrium (CGE) model, which serves as a methodological tool for modeling the role of agriculture in the Czech economy. The model is designed to simulate agricultural policy scenarios and allows for the assessment of their impacts on agricultural production, household consumption and welfare, public finances, external balance and economic growth.

Agricultural subsidies supported rather income of farmers than crop diversity
SEEPIA researchers assessed the impact of agricultural subsidies on the agricultural biodiversity, i.e. land-use and crop diversity
